Zhunan Railway Station
Had a lovely day of walking. I took an early train from Taipei to Zhunan, and got started around 11:30am. The weather was nice, warm and sunny but not hot and with a breeze.

Zhunan turned out to be an interesting place. It would probably be a bit boring to live there, but had a certain vibrancy to it. In particular, the market area north of the train station was just full of life.

Longfong fishing port
When I got to the fishing harbor the wind was pretty brisk. But fortunately there was a great path just near the beach that gave cover from the wind, as well as shade. It was actually a very pleasant afternoon's walk.

These pictures don't show it, but there were lots of cyclists on the trail.

I took a break to eat a snack and rest my weary feet. The area around here was really nice: windswept sand dunes, tidal flats and mangrove.

Looking back
Finally time to go back to Taipei. Fortunately, the train tracks were very close to the seaside.
